FUNGI FASCINATING?

Although fungi have inhabited the earth for much longer than humankind, we are at the nascent stage for the discovery and development of fungi for use in food production. From the umami taste and aroma of their fruiting bodies, to the unique fibrosity of its mycelium and so much more, we aim to best replicate the taste, texture and experience of meat through fungi.

Fungi are such intelligent organisms, that we are dedicated to tap into their intelligence and create a whole new way of feeding ourselves well. With so much still to discover about fungi, at Libre Foods, we aim to capture nature’s brilliant technology to reinvent delicious, whole-muscle cut meat products for people around the globe.
